In Path of Exile 2, Breachstones come in two main tiers: Regular Breachstones and Flawless Breachstones, which correspond to blessings applied to the stone by the respective Breachlord's Blessing. Understanding the differences helps you choose the best rewards based on your goals.

Regular Breachstones
Created by combining 100 Breach Splinters.
Each regular Breachstone opens a domain where you fight the associated Breachlord.

They have 2 additional random map modifiers and offer 100% increased experience gain.

Rare monsters drop additional rewards.

They have standard monster level and pack size.

Regular Breachstones drop un-upgraded Breach unique items.

Flawless Breachstones

Obtained by empowering a regular Breachstone with the Breachlord's Blessing, turning it "Flawless."

Offer an increase in the quantity and rarity of items found.

Monsters have higher level, increased experience, and larger pack sizes.

Flawless stones spawn with additional modifiers, making encounters tougher.

They grant less additional time from monster kills compared to regular ones.

Breachlords in Flawless Breachstones can only drop upgraded Breach unique items, including some exclusive uniques like Uul-Netol's Vow.

Provide better drops but with increased difficulty.

Choosing the Best Tier for Rewards

If you want safer, more approachable runs, regular Breachstones are better, especially if your character is not yet well-geared.

For maximizing loot quantity, rarity, and experience, and you are confident in your survivability and damage, Flawless Breachstones offer significantly better rewards.

Flawless Breachstones are the exclusive source of some late-game uniques and better rare item drops, making them ideal for advanced farming.

Flawless stones demand stronger builds due to tougher monsters and less time gain per kill.

Blessings upgrade regular Breachstones into Flawless ones, increasing difficulty but also substantially improving rewards, experience, and drop quality. Choose Flawless if you can handle the challenge and aim for top-tier farming, or stick with regular for safer, steady gains.
